MET Advanced Technology, founded by Murat Merdin, a PhD student in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, and graduate students Oğuz Deniz Merdin and Doğukan Bayır, submitted a bid to the tender opened by CERN, which conducts the Large Collision Experiment, of which Turkey is a member.
In the statement, it was stated that “for the first time, a Turkish company has received a bid” in the tenders opened at CERN, and that the company envisages to establish 100 per cent domestic synchronous hydraulic control technology.
The company, which designs mechanical, electromechanical and hydromechanical systems, has previously developed synchronous hydraulic control technology within the scope of TÜBİTAK TEYDEB 1507 Project.
